Eyes
    by Dreamerboy1616

Dare I glance into your eyes?
Hoping that my heart is not found out
No, I will stare waiting
For the fateful moment when
Their gleam tells stories
More beautiful than the summer night's sky

  Good Guys
    by Dreamerboy1616

Life is life
So carry on
Worriers berthed
Through sweetest song

Undoubtedly untouchable
Undeniably indestructible
Their drive is hope
Their strength is faith

They march to battle
Swords are ready
Hands on hilts
To hold them steady

In silver armor
Heavily clad
Their shields strapped tight
As eyes reflect the aging night

They march in lines
As infantry
As far as one man's
Eye can see

With their hopes high
Objectives clear
A bold and booming
Battle cheer

Our hearts are pure
Our minds are clear
Our souls complete
Immune to fear

Though many swords
May fall to gray
I for one
Will always stay

For I am loyal
Like my brother
Sworn by oath
To one another

Fight to death
Serve my kings call
Never giving less than all
Lest I see my brother fall

We march to guard
The lower gate
And stem this flood
Of hideous hate

To crush evil
Once and for all
Today we see
The darkness fall

The lower gate
Is now in sight
Enlightened ones
Prepare to fight

Now whispers flow
Like calm sea water
As hands on hilts
Grow steadily hotter

Calm complexed
And slightly vexed
Thoughts on all minds
Are what comes next

The leader worrier
Always true
Instructs his men
In what to do

"Bend your knees
Swords in hand
Iron tips
Thrust in the sand"

Heads are bowed
A prayer is spoken
Evil ranks by thin
Be broken

Now worriers rise
Prepared to fight
And guard the gate
Through aging night

The names of God
Rise in the sky
As worriers
Belt forth battle cries

  The Alone Ones
    by Dreamerboy1616

Now that I find myself the alone one
In this sea of purposeless entities
I find it absurd the life of the so-called accepted
Meaninglessly approved of sons and daughters of the long dead
Lost in their meaningless repetitions
Unquestioningly they follow the path well trodden
Most face the path's end
Stone-faced without expression
These are the hopelessly lost ones
And destiny will show them no mercy
But there are still those with backs turned
Faces set in eternal grimace
Towards the path's beginning
Not yet resigned to trod the path of their forbearers
These are the alone ones
And I proudly count myself among you
World-changing warriors
We are the destiny-defying rebels
Cliché breakers till our death
We see you cloaked on faces well hidden
Try your hand in turning us around
For we will surely stay you
For we are the alone
We are the warrior born
And not easily beaten.
