I am
Wanting to be what I already am
Lost in striving, I surrender to being
Being part of the universe,
I acknowledge my oneness
As an open-ended cave,
I allow the free winds of eternity
to rush through me
Feeling unbroken,
And sharing my breath with creation
Filled with my emptiness,
I collapse into wholeness
With outstretched wings
and peeled-back fingers
Adrift in a sea of smiles, I let go
Opening all of me to receive

Irwin Dunsky writes, “I am 64 years old,
and live in New Jersey with my wife of 41 years.
I have been writing for about 13 years.
My writings reflect a lifetime of experiences, successes and
failures. I remain a romantic, forever dreaming of the
possibilities.” |
