Reasoning
    by Andrew Medina

Ponds and seas
and lakeside shores
The sun, moon, and stars
shining forever more
Tree branches and leaves
hanging over still waters
Brooks running through meadows
hidden in mountains
Spotted with salt and freshwater fountains
The pink sky left by the lingering sun
Moonlight glistening on the water
as morning comes
God created all these things, that’s true
That’s how I know
He created you too

Mr. Medina writes, "I am a 20 year old business student at Florida State University.  I don't consider myself by any means a poet, but every so often I'll get struck with inspiration from a certain source, the only source in fact that can inspire me to write.  Of course this source is the opposite sex.  All my poetry deals with that subject in one way or another.  Criticism would be greatly appreciated.
