As I grow older
The younger I get.
I don't care about much
And theres hardly regret.
The wiser I get
The harder it is
To wish to rewrite
'Cause I wouldn't be this.
I wouldn't have drank
Id wear a red cape
I could have prevented
The blackout and rape.
I would have left
And never came back
My love wouldnt be
And a daughter I'd lack.
I'd never experience
Heartbreak and loss
Happiness and relief
Those shouldn't be tossed.
So the older I get
I let go of balloons
Revert back to me
And watch lovely cartoons.
