One father,
One mother,
One marriage gone bad.

Why did he take it?
He never showed he was sad.
When she left he was all I had.
Thanks so much for he is my Dad.

You mean so much to me and you don't even know.
You taught me how to fish,
And when I started baseball
You taught me how to throw.
We used to race in the backyard
But you were always too fast;
I even remember in the driveway with my first fishing pole
You taught me how to cast.
Life was awesome then
So why didn't it last?
But dad I'll always love you
So forget the past
Cause we can make do
Living our lives just Me, Tash and You.
