Nanny Paddy

"You're going to be a grandma soon,"
my daughter said to me,
Through tears of love I said to her,
"A mummy you're going to be."

You're baby has chosen a mummy,
As gentle as a flower,
Who is a warm ray of sunshine
And smiles like no other.

I want to let you know dear daughter
You mean the world to me,
And the love that is in my heart for you
Makes me a loving Nanny Paddy to be.
