The Suffering Wolf
Every leg movement, a heavy one into eternity,
Hunger and tiredness begin to set in,
An old wolf, in search of shelter.
Darkness, a poisonous tongue,
Yearning to lick its dry tears,
The chill, slowly, finishes off its food.
The snow, a blanket that bites,
Wrapping its shivering body.
A dying wolf, lost in the wilderness of winter,
Longs to retrogress to its sparkling youth.
